Our bodies depend on water and transform it through every breath we take. Water, like vibration and sound moves through each human being at every moment and connects us to one another. The debut album, Gone gathers a collection of songs inspired by these connections and nurtures the links between traditional and folk music. Grace O'Malley's vocals tenderly trace the heart's journey of growth, history and connectivity. We Are Water offers sonic escape through the acoustic of mandolin, kora, guitar, bass and percussion. Born in Harlem, New York and nurtured in Dublin, Ireland the project features musical talent with roots in Irish Trad, country, reggae and West African griot music.
